For owners contemplating the sale or transfer of the business we perform an assessment of the three legs of the stool associated with any business transfer.1. The condition of the company. We perform a valuation of the company and an assessment of the key drivers of the company and whether the company would be attractive to a buyer.
2. The proceeds from the sale. Are the proceeds adequate to support your post business ownership lifestyle?
3. Your Personal Readiness: Do you want to sell the business? Often we see that question cannot be answered until the owner answers “what do I want to do after owning and running the business?” We sometimes come to understand that the owner would rather not sell the business, but would like to spend less time running the business. Our assessment can create recommendations we can help implement to achieve just that.
